The Naptime Artisan

A few years' back, there was a huge debate in the food industry about what exactly the definition of "artisan" was.  Pizza chains and frozen food industries were slapping the label "artisan-made"on their products, and a controversy ensued.

How could something that was "artisan-made" be a mass produced, mechanically made item?

A few months ago, my husband and I started a business.  I'll share more later on about how our business started, but it has become a relatively successful little side gig.  And we are artisans, in the true sense of the word.  We make our products by hand, and we don't make many of them.

This blog will serve to chronicle a deeper inside look at what it is to be a home-based artisan, and juggling it with the demands of being parents and involved members of our community.  I'll be sharing sneak peeks of things in our shop in advance and talking a little more candidly about sales and marketing.
